No, that’s the magic of Time to Read! We take the pressure off choosing and surprise you with a book we think you’ll love, based on your preferences.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time before your next book is shipped.

We offer a fully curated service so all of your books will be chosen by one of our expert book selection specialists based on the information given to us when you purchase your subscription.

At Time To Read, we carefully select books based on the preferences you provide when subscribing. Our goal is to surprise and delight you with every delivery! If you happen to receive a book you already read or own, just let us know — we’ll be happy to arrange a refund or an exchange. Contact us at hello@timetoread.online for more information.

Your first book will be shipped based on when you placed your order:

  • If you ordered before the 15th of the month, your book will be shipped on the 16th.

  • If you ordered on or after the 16th, your first book will be shipped on the 1st of the following month.

Please note: since we personally select each book and don’t always keep stock on hand, your first order may be delayed by up to 5 business days.

All future books will be shipped on the 1st of each month. Delivery typically takes 2–4 business days after dispatch.

We will always do our best to introduce you to books and authors that you may not have tried or heard of, but we understand that you may receive a book that you already own or have previously read. Should this happen please get in touch via hello@timetoread.online and we’ll happily send you a refund or a replacement.

Firstly, we’re really sorry! All our books are sent out on the 1st of the month or the next working day. Our customers should receive their books within 2-5 working days. If you haven’t received your book by the 6th day please get in touch and we’ll arrange for a replacement to be sent.

If you have just placed an order, your first book will be sent based on the date of your purchase:

  • Orders placed before the 15th of the month will be shipped on the 16th.

  • Orders placed on or after the 16th will be shipped on the 1st of the following month.

Because each book is hand-selected and we don’t always keep stock on hand, your first book may be delayed by up to 5 business days after the shipping date.

All follow-up books will be sent on the 1st of each month, with delivery typically taking 2–4 business days after dispatch.

Most of our paperback books are designed to fit through a standard letterbox. If you have specific delivery preferences or want to use a work address, just let us know!

We now ship to the Netherlands and Belgium! Enjoy fast delivery to both countries.

Of course! Just send us an email at hello@timetoread.online. Since we prepare orders a month in advance, any changes (including address updates) need to be submitted by the 1st of the month before your next book is sent.

You can cancel your monthly subscription anytime through the My Account section or by contacting us, and we’ll take care of it for you. Need a break? You can also pause your subscription whenever you like. Please note that prepaid subscriptions are non-refundable. Our introductory offer is a discount on the subscription, not on a specific book. At Time To Read, you receive a surprise book each month, carefully selected for you. Because you don’t know in advance which book you will receive and it’s part of a subscription service, this does not fall under the fixed book price regulation.

The price you pay covers the entire subscription, including:
